Resolve and eliminate intercompany

Keep the source disagreement explainable

A reconciliation preserves each source side and the amount allocated to it. Reversing the from/to direction cannot make a second independent pair. Stable source identities protect against replay and overlapping matching workers. The original subsidiary postings remain unchanged by the group-layer elimination.

A difference inside tolerance still needs its configured disposition. If a corrective entry is required, create a separately balanced reviewed proposal. Never force unequal amounts into a journal by silently reducing one subsidiary’s balance. A missing counterpart remains missing until source evidence or an authorised correction establishes the result.

Posted eliminations retain their lines and reviewers. A changed source balance cannot edit that history; prepare a reversal and reviewed replacement within an authorised open financial revision. A material unresolved dispute prevents group publication even if other pairs have finished.
