Keys and references

Bank instructions has a record number and provider instruction identifier. Bank evidence and reconciliation items retain provider event identifiers. Operation receipts has a stable operation key and effect references. These identifiers should be preserved during migration so repeated provider messages can be distinguished from new work. Account and instruction references are explicit, allowing an auditor to move from a reconciliation item to the financial account and confirmed instruction that explain it.

Migration order

  1. People and organizations. Import Users, Organizations and team members with the intended organization scope.
  2. Provider directory. Import financial counterparties and financial accounts with active state and currency.
  3. Opening position. Load account snapshots and the effective exchange rates reference where applicable.
  4. Instructions and applications. Bring in bank instructions, instruction accounts, record attachments and risk model runs with their original identities.
  5. Decisions and outcomes. Attach review decisions, bank evidence and operation receipts to their parent instructions.
  6. Movements. Import reconciliation items with source event identifiers and validate account and instruction links.
