Corporate treasury teams
A corporate treasury team can use the instruction and account records to follow a transfer from preparation to provider confirmation. Each instruction has an organization, owner, counterparty and amount. Account scopes show the debit and credit sides. The independent decision and provider evidence stay with the same record, making a handoff between preparer, approver and auditor easier to inspect.
How Financial Risk Management is set up for you
Transfer preparation
Treasury Preparer checks the active counterparty and account identifiers before recording the requested amount and attaching the source request.
Independent decision
Independent Treasury Approver examines the current revision and records a reasoned decision before an Authorized instruction moves to the provider.
Provider follow-up
A provider identifier and evidence event help the team distinguish a submitted request from a confirmed outcome.
Daily exceptions
Unmatched movements and receipts needing review show which items still need a source check.
Start with one organization and a small set of provider accounts. Bring in active counterparties, account identifiers and a dated balance snapshot for each account. Rehearse a single transfer with supporting material, a separate approver and a provider confirmation. Then bring in a matching movement and deliberately mismatched movement to test the exception path.
Agree who owns the provider connection and how its evidence is verified. Treasury records should retain the event identity, occurrence date and amount supplied by the provider. A provider acknowledgement can be useful for follow-up, while confirmation requires the appropriate evidence. Keep earlier decisions and provider corrections available when the same instruction is later inspected.
The first operating cycle should give the team a clear answer to three practical questions: who authorized the amount and accounts, what did the provider confirm, and which movement reconciled. Expand to more organizations only after those handoffs work with the intended access boundaries.
Features to start with
Roles on the team
- Auditor
- Read authorized evidence and reports in a scoped, read-only audit view. No record writes and no action execution.
- App Administrator
- Maintain organization configuration and membership. Administrative membership does not confer approval, financial or execution authority and cannot grant an independent reviewer entitlement.
- Independent Treasury Approver
- Review eligible instruction revisions independently and reconcile operational evidence. Approve or reject through guarded actions only; no unrestricted editing of protected or executed records; a reviewer cannot approve their own submission.
- Treasury Preparer
- Prepare assigned operational records and execute eligible reviewed actions. Own organization and draft scope only; accepted, posted and provider evidence is read-only; guarded workflows authorize every transition.
