Keys and references
A Bookings row references exactly one Customers row and one Equipment row. Add on bookings, add on charges, rental charges and Payments use Booking to stay attached to the rental. Maintenance tasks use Equipment, Booking and assigned to to explain what work is due on which unit and who owns it. Team members.User connects the staff record to a Users account. Preserve these references during migration so a charge or service task is never detached from its source rental.
Migration order
- Load Users and team members, then Customers and Equipment with stable identifiers.
