Who it's for

Food truck lunch service

A lunch truck often returns to the same venues while each service has a new order scope and serving time. Keep those destinations as route stops, then let the order owner choose the correct stop for the shift. The kitchen sees accepted work against active menu items and approved recipes. The service lead records what guests actually received.

How Food Truck POS & Route Planner is set up for you

Recurring stops

Use the stop code, address, contact and eligibility note to distinguish similar venues and confirm the right organization.

Short service window

Check the serving time and order capacity before acceptance; a time on a draft order is not the team's commitment.

Menu control

Review active items and allergen declarations with the kitchen before accepting a group order.

End-of-shift review

Use the shift operations screen to find accepted orders, served portions and failed operation receipts that still need attention.

The service lead records what guests actually received.

Pilot one recurring lunch stop and a small active menu. Enter the organization, destination, team members, products, ingredients and an approved recipe revision first. Create a feasible stop order, submit its line ticket, obtain a supervisor decision, then prepare and serve part of the order. Record the actual served portions and any ingredient waste. The team should be able to explain the difference between the original request and the final service from the line and movement records.

Include a second ticket that is returned for correction and a pending operation receipt that needs reconciliation. The supervisor should see the same parent order from the review and exception screens. Check that retrying an accepted action returns its earlier result. Once the shift closes cleanly, expand the set of stops and menu items.
