How a Freight Brokerage Platform rollout works

Configure a bounded brokerage cycle and rehearse the readiness and review decisions.

  1. Choose the pilot movement

Select a known transport partner and a warehouse-to-cross-dock load. Identify the Dispatcher preparing it and the Transport Supervisor making the independent award decision.

  2. Prepare scope and resources

App Administrator checks organization and membership context. Prepare the driver and vehicle references with their eligibility and readiness evidence. Admin supports user access setup.

  3. Agree dates and revisions

Define how load and stop revisions are handled and how appointment windows and assignment intervals are entered. Inspect the planning receipt created with a new load, then rehearse the separate stop and resource checks. Preserve the original delivery promise when recording later observations.

  4. Rehearse carrier review

Prepare and submit an offer with its rate, validity and authority reference. Test independent approval, rejection and Return, then inspect the persisted award receipt before completion.

  5. Practice dispatch and delivery

Check overlapping assignments, driver eligibility and vehicle readiness before dispatch. Record pickup and delivery with their evidence, including a late-arrival example.

  6. Review exceptions and access

Reconcile an uncertain receipt with the authoritative source. Rehearse cancellation of unexecuted scope separately from a correction after pickup, and verify that Auditor and administrative roles retain their intended boundaries.

What the customer provides

Bring partner identities and the authority evidence used for carrier review. Prepare a representative load with stop windows, driver eligibility and vehicle readiness information. Name the people responsible for external sources and arrange their connection access through the approved sign-in process. Explain the event that establishes pickup and delivery for the team’s operating procedure.

Changing it afterwards

Test a changed approval rule or resource check against the pilot before using it across the workload. Review the effect on earlier decisions and executed movement evidence. Preserve original promises and genuine operation references when later corrections change the operating plan. Agree any additional engineering or transport constraints with the responsible team before adding them to dispatch checks.
