Step by step

1. Scope the commitment Project Manager

   Assign task dates, estimates and predecessor references. Check the intended graph with the package owner, including the actual meaning of each finish-to-start relationship and the resource work implied by the dates.

3. Submit the baseline Project Manager

   Project Manager sends the baseline identity and work-package task graph for feasibility checking. Keep its revision, planned hours and technical reference aligned with the plan being submitted.

4. Read the feasibility result Project Manager

   The workflow rejects circular dependencies, missing references and impossible date relationships. Feasible submissions become Approved and freeze. Read the recorded decision and operation outcome before relying on the result.

5. Authorize the work package Delivery Lead

   Delivery Lead reviews the checked plan, staffing and scope, then manually records Approved, Rejected or Returned for the work-package subject. Use this manual handoff at the review points agreed during setup, keeping it distinct from the automated graph result.

6. Hand the plan into delivery Project Manager

   Project Manager uses the recorded decision to coordinate the working handoff. Preserve the approved baseline when later task changes require a revised plan and another work-package decision.
