Who it's for

Financial services groups

A group operating through several organizations can keep assessment ownership, operating units and prudential review context explicit. Organization records carry currency and time zone. Business units and team members link back to their organization, while assessments identify both the organization and counterparty. This supports a clear review boundary when a control area is examined across periods.

How GRC for Banking and Financial Services is set up for you

Organization context

Set the legal or operating organization for each assessment and prudential review.

Review identity

Name the person who prepared work and the separate person who decided it.

Reference trail

Keep the regulator reference and control area on the prudential review, and the reason on the separate reviewer decision.

Operational exceptions

Investigate failed operation receipts separately from failed control tests.

A group operating through several organizations can keep assessment ownership, operating units and prudential review context explicit. Organization records carry currency and time zone. Business units and team members link back to their organization, while assessments identify both the organization and counterparty. This supports a clear review boundary when a control area is examined across periods.

Select one organization, one business unit and one control area. Confirm team members belong to the intended organization and have the right responsibilities. Prepare an assessment with a bounded period and test its linked controls. Submit a prudential control review with a reference and exception count whose meaning has been agreed by the team. Have an Independent Reviewer return it with a reason, revise the material and record the next decision against its actual revision.

Before adding another organization, inspect Internal and Shared evidence access with ordinary role accounts. Compare an assessment for the first organization with one for the next and confirm each owner sees the intended unit, control context and attachments. Check that reports group by the right organization and period. A reviewer should be able to reconstruct which version was examined without relying on an export or personal notes.
