How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure GRC for Construction for your business. Begin with one organization, one site, one assessment period and a control that can be tested with evidence. Rehearse a failed test through correction and independent retest before adding more work.

Who should own an assessment?

Name a Team Member who belongs to the assessment organization and can coordinate the scope, planned tests and follow-up. The scoping workflow checks the owner’s membership and the assessment revision.

How are site checks recorded?

A Site Inspector records the site, inspected date, permit reference and open safety issues. The check can be submitted for a Compliance Manager’s review and kept with the relevant assessment context.

What evidence does a passing control test need?

The tester records a tested date, sample size, exception count and evidence reference. The testing workflow refuses a passing result without an evidence reference and an exception count above the sample size.

When can a test become a finding?

A failed or inconclusive test can be the source of a finding tied to its assessment and control. A passing or pending test cannot create one through the finding workflow.

Can the correction owner close a finding?

No. The owner may plan, carry out and submit the corrective action with evidence. A different reviewer records the retest. Only a passing independent retest closes the finding and verifies the action.

What happens after a failed retest?

The finding stays open. The correction owner can address the remaining issue and submit further evidence for another independent check. The failed retest remains a dated record of the decision.

Where do document versions and attachments belong?

An assessment attachment is linked to its assessment with an uploader and visibility choice. A controlled document has versions under the parent document, so reviewers can examine the sequence and source reference.

How are failed operations followed up?

Operations Overview includes failed operations in its exception queue. Review the related attempt, run or receipt and reconcile the outcome before repeating the request.
