3. Decide closure Independent Reviewer

   A passing independent retest closes the finding and verifies the action. A failed or inconclusive result leaves it open.

   • Apply the reviewer’s result.

   ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.

4. Follow failed result Finding Owner

   Finding Owner addresses remaining issues and prepares further evidence.

   • Continue correction without erasing the failed retest.
