Where it usually breaks
And how to keep it from happening.
- Unclear counterparty. A familiar contact name can hide an account belonging to another organization. Check the account and opportunity context before qualifying.
- Thin activity evidence. An entry saying only that a meeting happened gives the next owner little to use. Record the outcome that supports the proposed next step.
- Changed revision. Another person may update the opportunity while the owner prepares the action. Reload the current version and reconsider the evidence before retrying.
