Start with two warehouses under one legal entity and a product needed at the second location. Warehouse Manager checks the available source position and approves a bounded transfer. Warehouse Operator records actual dispatch, then records a smaller destination receipt. The remaining quantity stays in owned transit and should not appear as newly available at either warehouse. Rehearse an attempted receipt above the dispatched remainder.
Place a dealer order against the destination warehouse. Sales Manager reviews its accepted scope and Warehouse Manager reserves only stock that has actually arrived there. Assign an operator and release a route with the source warehouse, transport reference and stop sequence. A planned stop is not delivery evidence: Warehouse Operator records the attempt and the accepted, refused or failed line result. Keep the original dealer promise visible after a partial delivery.
Accountant checks that the invoice uses only eligible title-transferred scope under the entity policy, then applies a confirmed cash receipt within its available balance. Finance Manager reviews the resulting open items and source checks for the period. If another legal entity is added later, keep its stock ownership, currency and accounting period separate. Confirm which team owns each transfer exception and which source event resolves transit before scaling the pilot to further warehouses.
