Keys and references
A reservation uses Guest → Parties and Unit → Units. Service tasks uses assigned to → People and links both Unit → Units and Reservation → Reservations. Folio charges, Payments, outlet bookings and outlet charges each refer to a Reservation. People.User refers to Users. Keep those links intact during migration so a repeated guest visit remains a distinct reservation with its own account and tasks.
Migration order
- Create Users, People, Parties, Units and rate plans with stable identity and unit types.
- Import Reservations with guest and unit references and check dates and status.
- Add service tasks, outlet bookings, folio charges, outlet charges and Payments against the correct reservation.
- Reconcile sample stays across arrival, service and departure before broader import.
