Hospital patient meal service
A hospital food service team can keep a patient's meal order, ward and service interval together. The Property Manager accepts a Requested order after checking capacity and overlapping service days. The Front Desk Agent then links service requests and assigned work to that same order. Each person can inspect the order before the next shift acts on it.
How Hospital Canteen Management is set up for you
Intake
The Property Manager selects the patient and ward, checks capacity and records the service interval and meal count. The Requested queue makes work awaiting acceptance visible.
Kitchen handoff
The Front Desk Agent records a linked service request and assigns a Meal Service task to a Team Member. Staff can use the task due date and status at shift change.
Financial review
The Finance Officer keeps meal lines, diet charges and payment evidence attached to the order. Confirmed receipt evidence is reviewed separately from serving the order.

Choose a ward whose team can check each order against the same patient and service-day source. Agree the meaning of the start and end dates, the ward capacity rule and the person who decides whether a requested order is accepted. Set the expected task handoff and decide how an incorrect patient, ward or count is corrected before preparation.
For a first cycle, follow a normal order through request, acceptance, preparation and service. Add a Special Diet request only where the team has agreed how that service type is handled. Review the resulting menu-item line, any diet charge and provider-confirmed receipt against the same order. This gives operations and finance a shared case to discuss without mixing task completion with payment confirmation.
At the next shift, inspect the order status, any open task and the ward state. A completed service can still leave cleaning work. Assign responsibility for checking that state before the ward is selected again. Extend to more wards only after the first team's source and handoff rules are clear.
