Ward-based service teams
A ward service team needs a clear assignment when several people touch one meal order. The Front Desk Agent can record a Meal Service task with its ward, order, Team Member and due date. Cleaning and Maintenance work use the same task record with their own task types. The next shift reads the assignee and status before taking over.
How Hospital Canteen Management is set up for you
Ward selection
The Property Manager checks capacity, current availability and overlapping service days before accepting a patient-linked order.
Assigned work
The Front Desk Agent names an active Team Member, sets a due date and moves the task through Open, Assigned, in progress and Completed as work advances.
Ward turnaround
A completed task supports the Property Manager's review of the ward. Cleaning is checked before the ward returns to Available.

Choose a ward with one upcoming order and a named Team Member. Agree who assigns tasks, who records completion and who reviews a Cleaning result. Check the order link and ward reference before a task is handed over; the task due date should make sense beside the order's service interval.
For a first cycle, follow a normal order through request, acceptance, preparation and service. Add a Special Diet request only where the team has agreed how that service type is handled. Review the resulting menu-item line, any diet charge and provider-confirmed receipt against the same order. This gives operations and finance a shared case to discuss without mixing task completion with payment confirmation.
At the next shift, inspect the order status, any open task and the ward state. A completed service can still leave cleaning work. Assign responsibility for checking that state before the ward is selected again. Extend to more wards only after the first team's source and handoff rules are clear.
