Who it's for

Guesthouses

A guesthouse often has a small number of distinct rooms, which makes the cost of a booking overlap immediate. Each stay carries a party, unit, dates, guest count and nightly rate. The front desk can use those details to submit a feasible booking and give the front desk a reliable arrival view.

How Hostel Management is set up for you

Booking contact

Party records provide the guest or group name, email and phone behind each stay.

Room detail

Room records retain the actual number, type, capacity and current condition.

Rate timing

Rate plans define dated nightly rates and minimum nights for a unit type.

Turnover

Service requests track cleaning and maintenance against both room and stay.

A guesthouse often has a small number of distinct rooms, which makes the cost of a booking overlap immediate. Each stay carries a party, unit, dates, guest count and nightly rate. The front desk can use those details to submit a feasible booking and give the front desk a reliable arrival view.

Enter the rooms and mark their actual condition before recording future requests. Choose a representative rate plan and a stay that falls within its date window. Review the stay's nightly rate when it is confirmed so the team has one agreed booking amount. Test a party larger than a room's capacity and a request whose nights overlap a confirmed stay.

For a departure, add a charge and receipt to the same reservation. Finance Officer should be able to distinguish a pending receipt from confirmed payment. The front desk checks the guest out, and the room enters cleaning. Assign a cleaning task, complete it and inspect the room before marking it Available.

Use the first cycle to agree how a changed guest contact, cancelled request or maintenance closure is handled. The records should let staff explain what changed without making another reservation to cover a routine correction.
