Who it's for

Hostels

A hostel team needs to know which party has a room, when the stay begins and ends, and whether the space is ready for the next guest. Connect each stay to its party and unit so the front desk can answer those questions from the reservation rather than an informal room list.

How Hostel Management is set up for you

Room intake

Front Desk Agent checks party size against unit capacity and requested nights before submitting confirmation.

Arrival

Front Desk Agent works from confirmed reservations and marks the selected unit occupied at check-in.

Guest work

Cleaning, maintenance and guest service tasks carry a room, stay, due date and assigned person.

Departure

Finance Officer reconciles posted charges with confirmed receipts before the unit enters cleaning.

A hostel team needs to know which party has a room, when the stay begins and ends, and whether the space is ready for the next guest. Connect each stay to its party and unit so the front desk can answer those questions from the reservation rather than an informal room list.

Start with the rooms the property can actually offer, their numbers, types, capacities and current statuses. Enter a small set of guest parties and stays that cover a near-term arrival, an occupied room and a departure. Agree which staff member owns each open service task. Run a same-room overlap case before staff rely on the confirmed arrival list.

Use one departing stay to check the connection between a folio charge, receipt and room turnover. The room should move to Cleaning at checkout and return to Available after the work and inspection are complete. A guest request during an occupied stay should remain linked to that exact room and reservation.

The first operating cycle should make the daily handoff plain: Front Desk Agent submits a feasible booking, Front Desk Agent handles the arrival, assigned staff complete service work, and Finance Officer reviews the guest account. Review the screens with those people using a real room and representative dates.
