Who it's for

Boutique properties

A small property may have the same person cover the desk and coordinate housekeeping. The records still need distinct decisions: confirm a reservation, assign a service task, review the guest account and return a cleaned room to inventory. Hotel PMS keeps those decisions on linked records, so a change of shift does not obscure the state of a room or payment.

How Hotel PMS is set up for you

Compact inventory

Maintain unit numbers, types, capacities and current statuses for rooms and suites.

Assigned work

Use staff records and service tasks to show who owns a cleaning or guest request.

Departure review

Read posted charges and confirmed receipts against the reservation before the room turn.

Enter the active units, then set dated rate plans for the unit types actually offered. Use one upcoming reservation and one recent departure to rehearse the daily cycle. The Front Desk Agent checks the full stay interval before confirming a room, even when only a few units exist. At checkout, create a cleaning task and ask the assigned staff member to update it. The manager then reviews the unit's return to Available.

Choose who covers each decision when staff are off duty. A single person may perform several tasks, but the role and permission setup should still make responsibility clear. If payments are confirmed by a separate provider, identify who brings that result back to the reservation. Do not treat the pending entry as money received during the guest account discussion.
