Resorts
A resort guest may book a room and make separate restaurant or spa plans during the stay. Hotel PMS links those outlet bookings to the reservation so the desk can find the guest's context. Any resulting outlet charge is recorded separately. Finance Officer can review that charge alongside other folio items and payments before departure.
How Hotel PMS is set up for you
Stay planning
Assign a unit with enough capacity and check requested dates against existing reservations.
Outlet appointments
Record the outlet type, name, start time and guest count against the stay.
Account handoff
Keep outlet charges in Draft, Posted or Voided so the final review uses the right amounts.
Begin with one unit type and the rate plans that cover its operating season. Add a guest party and a confirmed stay. Record a restaurant booking and a spa booking at different times against that stay. The desk should be able to identify each appointment from its booking number and time. Finance Officer should be able to distinguish a posted restaurant charge from a draft spa charge when reviewing the guest account.
Decide how each outlet sends its booking changes to the front desk and its charges to finance. If a separate point-of-sale or spa scheduler is used, define that connection and which team resolves mismatched references. Rehearse a guest changing party size after an outlet booking was recorded. Review the reservation's guest count and the outlet booking's guest count separately; each describes a different part of the visit.
