Stay decisions

Review guest, dates, capacity and unit before confirming a stay.

Step by step

  1. Stay request Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent receives the guest party, requested arrival and departure, guest count and intended unit. Keep the nightly rate on the reservation so the desk can see what was quoted.

    • Guest and requested stay are linked.
    • Updates Parties, Reservations
  2. Unit and rate review Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent compares capacity with guest count, checks the full stay interval against other reservations and consults the dated rate plan for the unit type. A room's current availability does not answer whether it is already committed on a future night.

    • Capacity, dates and quoted rate are considered.
    • Updates Units, Rate plans, Reservations
  3. Stay confirmation Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent decides whether the unit and dates can be offered and records the confirmed stay. A conflicting request needs a different unit or date decision before it is communicated as confirmed.

    • Requested becomes Confirmed or Cancelled.
    • Updates Reservations
