Click Get started and use Proto to configure HRMS for Education for your organization. Name the HR Manager, Hiring Manager, Faculty Coordinator, Faculty Reviewer and Payroll Specialist who will test the first cycle. Decide who administers users and who can inspect pay and personnel information.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Choose an employing organization, one campus and an effective academic calendar. Bring department, position and employee identifiers plus a known open requisition. Record a faculty assignment with its employee, owner, academic date and teaching hours. Prepare one leave request and one payroll period so managers can see their real approval work.
Review before release
Run the opening and offer through their named approvers. Have a separate reviewer decide the faculty assignment against its recorded revision and evidence. Check a submitted leave request, an approved timesheet and a payroll run with the period owner. Confirm that each role can see its own work and that payroll and private employee information have the intended access. Resolve the pilot’s follow-up actions before expanding to other campuses.
