How a Education HRMS rollout works

Set up the organization and academic context, then rehearse real people decisions before wider use.

  1. Set the foundation

Agree organizations, campuses, departments, job titles, positions, calendars and people identifiers. Name the owners of pay, faculty review and hiring decisions.

  2. Load staff and openings

Import employees and history after reference data. Reconcile their position, manager, location and payroll calendar. Add open requisitions and active applications.

  3. Set up faculty work

Configure the academic calendar for the first term and enter assignments with employee, owner, course reference and teaching hours. Test evidence and revision review.

  4. Rehearse operating cycles

Work a hire, a leave approval, a submitted timesheet, a payroll run and a performance review with the named people who will use them.

  5. Review and expand

Check access, reconcile source systems and close pilot follow-up actions before adding other campuses or organizations.

What the customer provides

Provide the employing organization list, calendar dates and policy references, department and campus codes, current position roster, employee identifiers, active openings and payroll calendar assignments. Name the person who can approve each opening, offer, leave request, faculty decision and payroll period. Bring one complete case for each rehearsal so the team can compare the entered record with its source.

Changing it afterwards

When a term or policy changes, update its effective definition and review dependent assignments. A position change should carry an effective employment-history event; an assignment revision should be reviewed against its new source revision. Recheck saved worklists, reporting filters and access when a new campus or employing entity is added. Keep a named owner for reconciling payment and filing connections after each cycle.
