  • Document storage

Systems to connect

  • Identity and directory. Match users to employees and named faculty operators before assigning access or approval responsibility.
  • Teaching timetable. Reconcile course references, academic dates and teaching hours with the source used by campus scheduling staff.
  • Payment execution. Hand approved pay statements and run totals to the organization’s payment process, then reconcile the actual outcome.
  • Tax filing submission. Give the filing owner a controlled export or connection and retain the confirmation reference and filed date.
  • Document storage. Preserve a secure attachment or external reference for evidence used in faculty review.

How connections are governed

Name the owner of each source, the identifiers used for matching and the expected reconciliation date. Test one corrected record, not only a first import. A connection should not move a payroll run to paid or a filing to filed until its receiving process confirms the result. Restrict pay, identity and personnel documents to people with a specific operational reason to see them.
