Who it's for

Multi-site factory groups

A factory group needs to know which people belong to each location and which payroll cycle covers them. Employee records carry location, department, entity, country, currency and payroll calendar. Positions and requisitions identify local staffing demand; timesheets and leave requests keep each employee's period activity attached to the same person record.

How Factory Workers HRMS is set up for you

Workforce placement

Compare employee department and location with the occupied position before moving a worker between sites.

Pay schedule

A payroll calendar identifies the entity, country, currency, frequency and cutoff for each run.

Hiring

A requisition connects a local opening to its location, hiring manager and recruiter.

Oversight

The Overview page groups the filtered employee population by department and lets HR Business Partner inspect one employee detail.

A factory group needs to know which people belong to each location and which payroll cycle covers them. Employee records carry location, department, entity, country, currency and payroll calendar. Positions and requisitions identify local staffing demand; timesheets and leave requests keep each employee's period activity attached to the same person record.

Pilot one location and its payroll calendar first. Load employee and position references, then review a worker's time, leave and safety training alongside the person detail. Prepare one payroll run and compare the statements with its totals. When that cycle can be explained, add a second location and check that each employee remains assigned to the intended entity and calendar.

A transferred worker makes a useful rehearsal. Record the effective employment event, check the new position and location, and follow the next pay period. This keeps the site's current workforce visible without losing the earlier department or manager context. Decide who can update these references and who has oversight across locations before broadening access.
