How a Gig Workers HRMS rollout works
Pilot one employee population and pay cycle before adding more entities and processes.
Map the people structure
Agree legal entities, departments, locations, positions, managers and employee identifiers.
Load current employees
Confirm employment type, status, country, position and payroll calendar for a representative population.
Rehearse time and leave
Submit a weekly timesheet and leave request, record decisions and inspect balances and detail.
Rehearse pay
Prepare one payroll period, review statements and lines, record approval and reconcile the payment state.
Extend the scope
Add recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance, learning and filing handoffs with their named owners.
What the customer provides
Bring the employee roster, current organization structure, payroll calendars, leave types, benefit plans and policies for approving time, offers and pay. Payroll Admin needs the pay period and tax jurisdiction mapping. Recruiter needs current openings and candidate handling rules. Select a real but safe pilot case for each participating role.
Changing it afterwards
Record the date and reason for employment changes in employment history. Review an employee’s calendar before the next run if their entity or country changes. Retest role access and approval ownership when the operating structure changes. Keep earlier pay statements and review outcomes traceable to their original periods. Plan the next cohort only after the first cycle reconciles.
