Store pay operations

Retail payroll teams need to connect the operational shift with the weekly time record and the pay period. Store Shift Entries hold the hours observed for a scheduled assignment. Timesheets and Time Entries carry the employee's weekly and dated hours. Leave Requests and Leave Balances provide the absence decision. Payroll Runs and Pay Statements hold the period and resulting amounts for review.

How Retail Staff HRMS is set up for you

Time from stores

Store Manager checks worked and absence hours against the assignment, then reviews submitted Timesheets for the employee.

Absence decision

HR Manager reviews a Leave Request's dates, days and balance before recording Approved or Rejected.

Pay review

Payroll Manager compares the run's period and totals with employee statements and their earning, deduction and tax lines.

Payroll Runs and Pay Statements hold the period and resulting amounts for review.

Select one Payroll Calendar and a representative period. Include a normal shift, a shift with absence and a late time correction. Store Manager should explain the difference between scheduled and worked hours and approve the correct weekly record. HR Manager decides the related leave request. Payroll Manager then checks the run, statement lines and currencies before approving the period. Keep a clear owner for any unresolved correction at cutoff.

Payment execution and tax submission need agreed external owners. The payroll records can retain statement status and tax filing confirmation references, while the team verifies the actual external result before relying on a Paid or Filed state. This division gives store and payroll staff a consistent review path without treating a roster change as an automatic payment change.
