- Multi-location employers
Multi-location employers
Keep employee, department and location records consistent while local teams handle requests and pay periods. The app connects the person record to the transactions that follow it, so local decisions can be reviewed without losing the employee's shared identity.
How Union Workforce HRMS is set up for you
Employee context
Departments, locations, positions and managers give the team a current operating picture.
Daily decisions
Leave requests, timesheets and approval statuses identify what a responsible person must review.
Pay and follow-up
Payroll runs, statements and employee history retain the period and effective date behind an outcome.
Keep employee, department and location records consistent while local teams handle requests and pay periods. The app connects the person record to the transactions that follow it, so local decisions can be reviewed without losing the employee's shared identity.
A new employee is assigned to a department, location, position, manager and payroll calendar. HR can see the employee in the current population while Payroll Admin uses the calendar for the next run.
Use one location and one payroll calendar for the pilot. Rehearse a hire, a location change and a full pay cycle before broadening the population. The team should check the record lists used by each owner, verify the record links and agree how exceptions return for correction. Once the first cycle reconciles, add departments and locations with the same naming and review rules.
For rollout, use a record from an ordinary workday as well as an exception. A leave rejection, blocked onboarding task or corrected pay period should remain visible to the owner. Review the employee, department and date links in each case. Agree who can change a record after approval and how a later correction will be explained to the next team.
