Keys and references

Use the employee identifier to reconcile people before importing their transactions. A requisition number, run number and assignment number identify separate work items. Preserve the reference to the source record when migrating an application, pay statement, training line or review decision. The controlled assignment revision is important because the reviewer decision names the version that was inspected.

Migration order

  1. Establish organizations, people owners, departments, locations, job titles, positions and payroll calendars.
  2. Import employees and dated employment history.
  3. Add requisitions, candidates, applications, offers and onboarding work.
  4. Add leave, time, pay and tax records for a representative period.
  5. Add cycles, courses and employee learning records.
  6. Add controlled modules, staff assignments, evidence, decisions and follow-up actions.
