Keys and references
Use employee ID as the stable employee identifier. Preserve the application’s candidate and requisition links, the offer’s application and position links, and each pay statement’s run and employee links. A line belongs to its statement; a time entry belongs to its timesheet. Dates on history, enrollment, payroll and training records determine which record applies to a period. Check country, entity and currency values before importing cross-border populations.
Migration order
- Load departments, locations, titles, pay grades, positions, leave types, benefit plans, jurisdictions, courses and payroll calendars.
- Import employees with current position, manager and calendar assignments.
- Add employment history, leave balances and active benefit enrollment.
- Bring in open recruiting, onboarding, time, review and training records with their references.
- Reconcile a representative payroll run, statement and line set before importing historical pay results.
