How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure HRMS with Exit Management for your business. Begin with one department, one payroll calendar and a representative departure whose tasks and pay period you can inspect end to end.
Who owns a departure?
HR Business Partner maintains employee and employment history records and coordinates the departure. Admin records checklist and task changes. Payroll Admin owns payroll review. Assigned employees report their task results.
Where is the termination date recorded?
Use the employee termination date and a dated Termination event in employment history. Compare both when rehearsing a departure.
How are tasks assigned?
Each task links to a checklist and carries an assignee, category, due date and status. The team agrees what evidence is needed for completion, and Admin records task updates.
Can I see blocked work?
The Blocked exit tasks view shows tasks marked Blocked with their assignee and due date. HR Business Partner can follow up before closing the checklist.
How is final pay reviewed?
Payroll Admin opens the relevant run, statement and lines, then checks the period and related leave and benefit context before approval.
What happens to former employee history?
The employee record can carry Terminated or Rehireable status. Employment history retains the dated termination event and later rehire event when applicable.
How are benefits reviewed at exit?
Review the employee’s benefit enrollments status and effective dates, then compare the departure date and payroll period.
Does a completed checklist confirm external access removal?
Use the assigned task to record the actual response from the identity system. Agree the required acknowledgment with the system owner.
What should the first rehearsal include?
Use a normal exit and one blocked task or mismatched date. Ask each owner to find the next action in the records without a separate message.
