Keys and references

Workforce snapshots references Organizations, organization units, People and optionally Employees. Workforce measures references its parent snapshot. Review decisions, evidence documents, external reconciliations, follow up actions and state history each reference a snapshot. Employee-related transactions use Employees references; applications use Candidates and job requisitions. Set the mapping from employee entity, department and location to each reporting unit during implementation.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations, organization units, People and the relevant organizational master records.
  2. Load Employees, Positions and effective employment history.
  3. Load operational hiring, time, learning and payroll records needed for the first reporting cut.
  4. Load workforce snapshots and workforce measures with source references.
  5. Attach evidence, reconciliations, decisions and follow-up actions after their source records exist.
