• Recruiting sources. Connect a careers site or sourcing service when applications originate outside the app.
• Scheduling and e-sign. Connect interview calendars and signature service when those events must be confirmed externally.
• Benefits carriers. Exchange enrollment results with the carrier that owns coverage confirmation.
• Payroll and finance. Use external confirmations for taxes, payments or hiring cost when those values come from another system.
• Identity provider. Confirm access changes with the system that owns accounts.

Agree which side owns each event and how its external reference is retained. Reconcile expected and confirmed amounts with value date and currency. Keep an unresolved difference visible as an action until a person has checked it. Review the access given to connected services, especially where employee identity, compensation and performance information is involved.
