How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Insurance Agent Portal for your business. Pilot one organization, a few client accounts, an owned opportunity and a carrier statement that a separate reviewer can decide.

Who owns an opportunity?

Each opportunity points to a team member as owner. The producer works the prospect and the agency manager checks assignments in the pipeline.

How are client accounts connected to prospects?

The opportunity names a client account as counterparty and also belongs to an organization. Keep these links when importing or correcting a case.

Can we track follow-up?

Record a call, meeting, email or task against the opportunity with a due date. Enter completion date and outcome after contact.

Where does a policy number go?

A commission statement can carry the policy number and the related opportunity. Policy administration remains a connected source to set up.

How is a commission statement reviewed?

A specialist prepares and submits the carrier amount. A reviewer checks evidence and records an approval, rejection or return decision with a reason.

What happens after a rejection?

The rejected statement returns to the worklist. Correct the source record and submit the revised amount for another review.

Where can we find a failed action?

Open Failed Operations to see the result state, action, date, parent opportunity and failure reason.

Can different team members see different evidence?

Attachments carry Internal or Shared visibility. Agree the access policy during setup and test it with ordinary team accounts.

What does Operations Overview show?

It brings pipeline, weighted forecast, review load and failed operations together so a manager can open the underlying case.
