Systems to connect
- Source system. Choose the records and fields that feed each definition, and agree how a source watermark identifies completed input.
- Destination system. Set up the receiving endpoint, accepted field contract and acknowledgement used during reconciliation.
- Credential service. Establish who maintains the credentials represented by each connector profile and how a change takes effect.
- Operational evidence. Capture provider references and external receipts so an uncertain attempt can be checked before another send.
How connections are governed
The Connector Administrator maintains the endpoint profile and field mappings for an organization. The Integration Owner selects that profile and fixes a mapping version on a definition revision. Validation records a trace and opens independent review. Once approved and enabled, the Integration Operator compares the destination receipt with the per-scope outcome, count and watermarks. Changes to endpoint identity or field meaning should enter a new reviewed revision before the next scheduled cycle.
