Synchronize and reconcile

Run a reviewed revision and compare scope outcomes with the external receipt.

Step by step

  1. Enable revision Integration Owner

Integration Owner makes the approved revision available for its scheduled cycle.

    • Hold the approved version ready for the schedule
    • Updates Integration definitions, Review decisions, State history
  2. Synchronize scope Integration Operator

Integration Operator starts the reviewed revision. The workflow reserves and confirms a per-scope execution, writes the operation run and numbered steps with the external receipt, records a delivery attempt and moves the definition into Running.

    • Produce scoped output and a traceable delivery attempt
    • Updates Sync executions, Operation runs, Operation steps, Execution attempts, Integration definitions
  3. Reconcile outcome Integration Operator

Integration Operator compares the destination receipt and attempt with the per-scope outcome, synced count, errors and source and destination watermarks. A completed run records the definition as Completed and preserves state history.

    • Compare receipt, counts and watermarks; record completion
    • Updates Sync executions, Execution attempts, Operation steps, Integration definitions, State history

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • The source and destination watermarks differ. Find the affected scope before marking the operating cycle complete.
  • A delivery attempt lacks a clear provider result. Inspect the run step and external receipt before sending again.
  • A per-scope result is Rejected even though other work was accepted. Keep its source identity and mapping version in the review.
  • An error count rises without an assigned response. Create a follow-up and give the Remediation Owner the relevant run and attempt.
