How the model is organised

Charge records:
Intercompany payables with payable lines and intercompany receivables with receivable lines carry the two sides of a charge.
Money and accounting:
Settlements link to charge records; reconciliation journals contain journal lines and refer to reconciliation periods.
Review trail:
Sign off decisions, reconciliation receipts and reconciliation evidence preserve decisions, action results and attachments.

Keys and references
Use the entity and partner references on each charge header to distinguish the paying and receiving sides. A settlement may reference a payable, a receivable or both. Journal lines reference an account and journal; journals reference an entity and period. Evidence identifies its parent through the stored table name and record ID. Keep source record identifiers stable during migration so the review trail remains navigable.
Migration order
- Load trading entities, finance team members and ledger accounts.
- Load payable and receivable trading partners with their entity references.
- Load periods, charge headers and their lines.
- Load journals and lines, then linked settlements.
- Bring in sign-off decisions, operation receipts and evidence with their original references; reconcile the results to source records.
