Keys and references

Retain the actual Id references, human record number or reservation number and workflow operation identities. Names and SKU labels are useful context but cannot replace a record reference during import. Owner resolves through team members.User for any current-user view. Custody owner records custody responsibility; account access belongs to Users and team members.User.

Keep signed quantity distinct from Quantity and source effect key distinct from operation key. A repeated effect and a repeated decision have different identity rules. Stock requests.Status and review decisions.Decision retain distinct state vocabularies.

Migration order

  1. Prepare Organizations and Users, then team members with reviewed User mappings.
  2. Load stock items and storage locations using stable references and consistent base units.
  3. Reconcile opening stock lots and load allocation policies with their organization context.
  4. Load open stock requests and any current stock reservations with a declared cutoff; reconcile held quantity to the opening lot balance.
  5. Retain historical stock movements, review decisions, record attachments and operation receipts as evidence without replaying their effects into opening stock.
  6. Load Loads and load stops in reference order, then handling units; test the separate physical-to-stock handoff before activating operations.
