Keys and references
The model contains 12 tables. Preserve source record identity during migration, and resolve references before importing dependent records. SKU, Market and Version describe an artwork revision; do not assume their combination is a uniqueness constraint without an agreed configuration check.
The actor mapping follows People.User to the signed-in account. My Inspections and My Corrective Actions depend on resolving that person identity correctly. Artwork versions.operational record points to an inspection; label checks.Artwork points to the artwork record, while artwork versions.Artwork is the file attachment. Keep those different uses of Artwork clear when mapping an import.
Audit findings tracks closure with closed at. Training acknowledgments records completed acknowledgments through acknowledged at. Interpret those dates according to their record purpose.
Migration order
- Identity. Prepare Users and People, then resolve the person-to-user mappings and active staff.
- Instructions. Import controlled documents with attachments and revision states before training acknowledgments.
- Inspections. Import Inspections and their assigned people, then inspection checks.
- Artwork. Link artwork versions to Inspections, then import label checks with artwork and reviewer references.
- Corrections. Import Nonconformances linked to their inspections, then corrective actions and their owners.
- Audits. Import Audits with auditor references before audit findings and their owners.
- Acknowledgments. Import training acknowledgments only after both the exact document revision and person are available.
