Prepare the first operating cycle

Choose one business unit and assessment period. Bring the control description, risk scoring basis, representative time evidence and an example finding. Assign an Assessment Owner, Compliance Manager, Remediation Owner, Retest Reviewer and Legal Reviewer. Agree which files may be shared and which remain internal. Use the implementation guide to organize the rehearsal.

Review before release

Run a test with a clear result and one exception. Follow the exception into a finding, action and retest. Submit a workforce check with jurisdiction and time evidence for legal review. Inspect a failed operation receipt and its parent assessment when one is available. Confirm that each reviewer can explain the decision from the linked assessment and current revision.
