• Land and parcel source. Decide how parcel identifiers and source references from the source of record are checked during intake.
• Document source. Decide where attachments are prepared and how their external references are retained on evidence documents.
• Transfer destination. Decide which system returns the transfer result and receipt, then record the reference on the operation step.

Source mappings hold the version, source field, target field and transformation rule for a defined mapping. Review that mapping with the owner of the incoming data before using it. Give an external action an operation key, then compare the response with the approved parcel revision. A failed or unknown attempt calls for reconciliation by the responsible operator before a later action is considered complete.
