Follow-up and correction

A follow-up action has a title, due date, assignee, status and resolution. Operators can keep outstanding evidence requests and corrections connected to their source parcel. For an executed revision that needs correction, keep its earlier steps, evidence and decisions readable while preparing a successor revision for independent review. When a delivery is superseded, assign a compensating follow-up action so the remaining work has a named owner.

An open action identifies the parcel and the person who must respond. Its due date lets the operator revisit an unresolved evidence request; its resolution explains what was done when the action is completed. A corrected parcel needs its own reviewer decision. The earlier review and transfer trace should remain readable to anyone resolving the new action.

• Assign the action. Link the unresolved item to its parcel and named assignee.
• Keep the prior trail. Read the earlier decision and operation receipt before changing the case.
• Close with a reason. Record the resolution when the assigned work is completed.

Agree who receives each class of follow-up and when an overdue action is escalated. Define the review point for a corrected parcel after a previous transfer. The assignee should know whether an action calls for a new document, an observation correction or reconciliation of an external receipt.

Agree who can complete an action and what resolution is enough to close it. If a delivered parcel is superseded, identify the person responsible for any compensation and the reviewer for its successor revision. Keep those responsibilities attached to records so the next person can see what remains open.

Take a Delivered parcel whose document evidence is corrected. The operator records a follow-up action and a successor revision. The original review decision, state history and operation receipt remain attached to the earlier revision. The reviewer sees a pending decision for the new revision and can approve or return it on its own evidence. Closing the follow-up requires a resolution that explains the work completed.

A completed follow-up needs a resolution the reviewer can compare with the changed evidence. The new decision must name the successor revision, while the old operation receipt continues to describe the earlier delivered result. The analyst should be able to explain both revisions from the linked records without asking the operator to reconstruct the case.
