Multi-office practices
A practice with multiple operating entities can use Organizations to distinguish which firm or department owns an account and opportunity. The organization code, time zone and currency give the team a common context for pipeline discussion. Team Members link users to an organization so owners and reviewers can be identified in the same scope as the engagement.
How Legal Services CRM is set up for you
Entity context
Open an opportunity only after selecting the correct organization and counterparty.
Working ownership
Assign the opportunity to a Team Member and keep relationship activity with that record.
Independent review
Record a decision against the exact revision before completing a conflict check or closing an outcome.
A practice with multiple operating entities can use Organizations to distinguish which firm or department owns an account and opportunity. The organization code, time zone and currency give the team a common context for pipeline discussion. Team Members link users to an organization so owners and reviewers can be identified in the same scope as the engagement.
Begin with one operating entity and rehearse the full decision path. Check that the account code distinguishes counterparties with similar names. Add a second organization only after its membership and review responsibilities are clear. A Sales Manager should be able to open the submitted conflict check, verify its parent opportunity and record a reasoned decision. An Auditor should be able to read the same chain later.
Agree how managers interpret expected value across entities because the opportunity value is recorded in USD while an organization also has a currency setting. Keep time zones current for team members who review dated activity and decisions. When an operation receipt needs review, compare its expected revision with the opportunity before considering any new action. The exception should be resolved in the correct organization context. Record which manager handled the review so another office can follow the decision later.
