Direct lenders
A direct lending team needs a reliable handoff from borrower intake to the credit decision and then to the account record. The application keeps the requested amount, borrower, organization and owner together. Underwriting reviews and decisions show which revision was examined, who made the decision and why. Provider references, account movements and receipts let operations follow the result after authorization.
How Lending Platform is set up for you
Credit Officer
Use borrower codes and application record numbers so repeat requests remain distinguishable.
Independent Credit Approver
Review the submitted revision and supporting attachments before recording a decision.
Credit Officer and Auditor
Inspect repayments and dated account snapshots when a provider event needs follow-up.
Begin with a single operating organization and a small set of borrowers whose identity and eligibility notes can be checked. Rehearse a request that is returned for more evidence, then approved on a new revision. Follow it to a provider reference and a recorded account movement. Use a repayment exception to test whether the operations team can trace the provider event without rewriting the original credit decision.
Agree who owns the provider account identifier, who records a confirmed outcome and who investigates a failed operation receipt. A credit approval alone should not be presented as a completed disbursement. The operating team can use Operations Overview to find pending reviews and failed operations, then open the application and its evidence for the actual case.
Check that a returned decision still points to its original revision and that the later approval identifies the new one. The Auditor should be able to explain both decisions from the retained records.
