Loan servicing teams

A servicing team needs to know which account a provider event affected, whether that event has been matched and what the provider reported at a specific date. Loan accounts carry the borrower and provider identifiers. Repayments carry event identifiers, amounts, occurrence times and matching states. Account snapshots preserve dated ledger and available balances. Together these records give the team a path from an exception back to its source.

How Lending Platform is set up for you

Event review

Check provider event identity before linking a repayment to an account and application.

Balance review

Compare a dated account snapshot with the relevant movement history.

Exception ownership

Keep unresolved repayments and failed operation receipts visible until their actual effects are understood.

Choose an active account with a known provider identifier and a few representative repayment events. Include an unmatched event and one that requires investigation. Confirm that a Credit Officer can find the event by provider reference, inspect its account and compare the balance snapshot for the relevant date. Then ask an Auditor to explain the recorded outcome without editing any of the source records.

Agree who imports or enters provider events, who checks duplicate identifiers and how corrections are retained. Decide whether the ledger or available balance is the measure for each daily question. A snapshot is an observation at a date; it should not replace the provider event trail. Operations Overview can point the team to exceptions, while the account and repayment records explain them.

Roles on the team

Credit Officer
Prepare assigned operational loan records and execute eligible reviewed actions. Own organization and draft scope only; accepted, posted and provider evidence is read-only; guarded workflows authorize every transition.
Independent Credit Approver
Review eligible loan application revisions independently and reconcile operational evidence. Approve or reject through guarded actions only; no unrestricted editing of protected or executed records; a reviewer cannot approve their own submission.
App Administrator
Maintain organization configuration and membership. Administrative membership does not confer financial, approval or execution authority and cannot grant an independent reviewer entitlement.

Read authorized evidence and reports in a scoped, read-only audit view. No record writes and no action execution.
