Individual life operations
An individual life team needs a consistent policy number, an accountable owner and a clear link from coverage to claim or maturity benefit. The policyholder record holds the contact and eligibility note; the policy holds the premium, dates and carrier reference. The insurer decides how eligibility and coverage terms are reviewed before issuance.
How Life Insurance Management is set up for you
Policy preparation
Assign a coordinator to each policyholder case and keep the coverage lines with the current policy revision.
Independent decision
Have an underwriter examine the revision before the carrier issue action records a reference.
Payment evidence
Connect each premium receipt to the policy and preserve the provider event ID.
Benefit case
Link a reported loss or maturity review to the same policy so the decision can be followed from the contract.
Start with one insurer organization and a small set of active policyholders. Choose a Draft policy with a coverage line, an under review policy ready for issuance and a verified receipt. Walk the owner and reviewer through those records. Then add a reported loss and a Draft maturity review for separate test cases. For the claim, compare loss date and evidence with the policy's terms; for maturity, compare beneficiary evidence and current review revision with the parent policy.
Agree where the carrier policy ID and provider events come from before the first operating cycle. These references matter when an action is repeated or delayed. Use the Operations Overview page to watch pending decisions and failed operations, and use the policy screen and linked premium receipt records to inspect the underlying cases. A case that needs correction should retain its earlier decision and operation receipt so an auditor can reconstruct what happened.
