What you can do

Make the maturity case reviewable

A maturity review belongs to a policy and insurer organization. It carries a review status, revision, policy reference, maturity date, benefit amount and beneficiary evidence. The Insurance Coordinator prepares the case in Draft. The authorization action freezes the expected Draft revision into Submitted and records an operation receipt. If the review is no longer at that expected Draft revision, the action leaves a reasoned failed receipt.

This revision check matters when a benefit amount or beneficiary evidence changes while someone is preparing the handoff. The reviewer should examine the submitted revision rather than an earlier screen or an old export. The Authorized Underwriter can review the benefit context, while the Auditor can later follow the date, revision and operation result. The saved maturity screen orders review work around the date and state of each case.

How the work is organized

  • Policy link. The parent policy and insurer organization identify the contract behind the benefit.
  • Benefit evidence. Maturity date, amount and beneficiary evidence give the reviewer a concrete case.
  • Revision result. Status and revision show what was submitted; the operation receipt explains failure or completion.

What to agree during setup

Agree which policy reference the team uses when a maturity case is prepared and where beneficiary evidence comes from. Assign the person who checks that evidence before submission. Select a pilot policy whose maturity date and benefit are known. Confirm that the policy organization matches the review organization, so a reviewer does not work across the wrong scope. Rehearse a changed Draft revision as well as a clean submission. The mismatch should be visible as a failed receipt with its reason rather than silently advancing the wrong version.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Open a Draft maturity review and compare the policy reference and maturity date with the linked policy. Check the benefit amount and beneficiary evidence before submitting. When the expected revision matches, verify that the review becomes Submitted and that the operation receipt points to the policy. Then alter a separate Draft case before attempting the old revision. The failed receipt should tell the team why it stopped, leaving the current review available for a fresh check. The Authorized Underwriter should examine the current submitted revision, and an Auditor should be able to trace the submission event later.
