How a Livestock Management rollout works

Start with one pasture cycle and rehearse the field-to-review handoff.

  1. Agree field identity

Select a small set of paddocks, codes, area conventions and current availability statuses.

  2. Connect people

Link team members to user accounts and rehearse each role's access.

  3. Plan a cycle

Enter the start and expected production dates, then assign inspection and feeding tasks.

  4. Run the work

Review task approval, completion, feed use and observations with the field team.

  5. Accept output

Record actual produced quantity and grade, name the reviewer and review the cycle close.

What the customer provides

Bring a pasture list with codes and locations, current feed lots with units and expiry dates, the team roster, one recent survey and a real cycle with task and production evidence. Name the manager who approves work and the reviewer who accepts output. Agree on observation types, grades and correction practices before wider entry.

Changing it afterwards

Review a changed boundary or area against the affected plan. Keep completed tasks and production history tied to their original cycle. Rehearse permission or status changes on a representative case before applying them across the farm. See the data model and roles.
