How a Loan Origination System rollout works
Configure the operating scope, rehearse decisions and verify provider outcomes before live use.
Define the pilot
Choose the organization, banking provider, counterparties and accounts that will be used first. Name the Credit Officer, Independent Credit Approver, Auditor and App Administrator for that scope.
Prepare reference records
Import the team, counterparty and account directories. Resolve duplicate provider identifiers, inactive parties and currency differences before loading live instructions.
Configure the decision path
Decide which attachments are required and how the approver checks a submitted revision. Rehearse a returned case and a changed revision with separate actors.
Connect the provider
Map submission, acknowledgement, confirmation and settlement identities. Define how delayed responses and repeated requests are investigated from operation receipts.
Run a pilot cycle
Prepare a dated instruction, approve it independently, submit it, verify provider evidence and match the resulting movement. Include an exception and an executed-scope correction.
Review access and reporting
Have the Auditor trace the whole case and check that report detail respects organization scope.
What the customer provides
Bring the organization and team directory, eligible counterparty list, provider account identifiers, sample instructions, support documents and sample provider outcomes. Name the owner of each connection and the person who can confirm an external event. Agree which supporting documents accompany the instruction and who verifies them before review.
Changing it afterwards
When a new provider or counterparty is introduced, test its identifiers and account ownership with a rehearsal case. Treat a changed submitted instruction as a new revision for review. For an executed instruction, preserve the original provider identity and use a reviewer-authorized compensating action. Retain old evidence and operation receipts so prior cases remain explainable.
