Multi-stop distribution
A distribution route may deliver to several addresses under one load. Load Stops preserve the order, address, planned window and actual visit times for each destination. The parent Load holds the overall promised delivery time and the actual completion time. A Dispatcher's route review can therefore consider both the local window at each stop and the final commitment to the customer.
How Logistics Tracking System is set up for you
Route order
Record the stop sequence before planning. A changed order affects what the Dispatcher approved and what the driver is expected to execute.
Visit times
Enter actual arrival and departure for each stop without replacing its planned window.
Recipient handoff
Keep the proof reference on the relevant stop and the supporting file on the load with the intended visibility.
Exceptions
Use an Exception load status to surface work that needs owner follow-up, then inspect the specific stop or carrier event behind it.
Take one load with several scheduled destinations. Dispatcher enters the stops in physical order and checks the windows against the original promised delivery time. Fleet Coordinator confirms a feasible assignment. Dispatcher approves the checked route on that load revision. After physical pickup, Dispatcher records the actual visit time at each stop. At the final destination, the recipient proof reference and actual delivery time support closing the load.
Run the same case with a changed middle stop after planning. Load Owner requests the correction with a reason. Dispatcher checks the current revision, related stops and operation receipts to determine which work has already executed. Dispatcher checks the successor scope before approving the changed route; an Operations Reviewer can record a separate revision decision. This makes a later delivery timing report useful: a late final delivery can be investigated through the actual sequence instead of being reduced to a single carrier status. Agree who collects proof at each destination and when a final load is allowed to be marked Delivered.
Features to start with
Loads and dispatch
Plan each load against its delivery promise, assign an owner and carry pickup through transit.
Review and evidence
Tie route decisions, attachments and operation receipts to the load revision they support.
Operations overview
Review active loads, pending decisions, delivery timing and operational exceptions together.
Roles on the team
- Dispatcher

- Load Owner
- Owns load scope and requests corrections or cancellation with the supporting reason.
- Operations Reviewer
- Makes independent decisions on load revisions and checks receipts that need review.
- Fleet Coordinator
- Maintains driver eligibility, vehicle readiness and defect release records used during assignment.
