Execute maintenance and inspect the outcome

Start permitted work, capture the intervention and review its service outcome.

Step by step

  1. Start the scheduled job Technician

The Technician starts the assigned maintenance through the execution workflow. An approved permit must cover the work at the intended time before the work order can move from Scheduled to In Progress.

    • Scheduled to In Progress after the permit guard
    • Updates Work orders, Safety permits
  2. Record the intervention Technician

The Technician records labor intervals, describes the work performed and links consumed parts to the job. Use the actual part unit and keep each entry attached to the intended work order.

    • Attach labor and consumption evidence
    • Updates Work logs, Part usage, Spare parts
  3. Submit for inspection Technician

The Technician submits the completed intervention and the job moves from In Progress to Inspection. The Maintenance Reviewer examines the submitted evidence and the exact revision awaiting a decision.

    • In Progress to Inspection
    • Updates Work orders, Work logs, Part usage
  4. Accept the outcome Maintenance Reviewer

The Maintenance Reviewer accepts eligible work through the guarded action. Acceptance closes the work order, publishes the service outcome and returns the asset to Active. Retain the evidence and reason when the reviewer rejects an outcome.

    • Close work, publish service and return the asset to Active
    • Updates Work orders, Service history, Assets
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  5. Check the next cycle Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager reads the service record and its next due date. Review the workflow's 30-day default against the preventive plan before relying on the next cycle.

    • Compare next due dates and route changes for review
    • Updates Service history, Preventive plans
